On Vibrato is an exciting new instrumental rock group hailing from Salt Lake City, UT. The group was first formed by high school friends Nick Anderson (bass, synth) and Josh Nordin (guitars). They were later joined by Jon Patch (keys, guitar) and Jason Elliott (drums). Their songs are finely-crafted sprawling sonic masterpieces that are a journey worth taking from start to finish.

When performing live the boys are in a world of their own and the audience members are fortunate voyeurs. The music has a tendency to come in relaxing waves with never a note played that doesn't need to be. Pulsating guitar feedback loops adorned with synth beeps, drum machine blips, and cymbal scrapings will morph into a solid groove before you even realize what is happening. You can't help but imagine the visuals that might accompany their music, especially when you close your eyes and let yourself be absorbed in the sounds they create.

On Vibrato's music is strongly recommended for fans of Mogwai, Tortoise, Godspeed You Black Emperor, and Do Make Say Think.
